We perform advanced characterization of natural geomaterials (minerals, rocks, precious and semiprecious stones), industrial materials (concrete, cement, mortar, plaster) and raw materials (natural or synthetic).

ANALYSIS: ENVIRONMENT
PETROGRAPHIC AND MINERALOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF ROCKS, SOILS AND CLAYS
ANALYSIS OF MINERALOGICAL SPECIES
Identification of mineralogical species, including new or rare phases.
We also perform investigations of surface properties, inclusions and defects of gems and semi-precious materials.
CHARACTERIZATION OF ORE AND MINING RESOURCES
Mineralogical and petrographic analysis of mineral resources for the definition of composition and properties of deposits.
MORPHOLOGICAL - STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
Advanced microscopy service for the determination of morphological and structural-surface characteristics of organic and inorganic materials, from biological materials to nano-structured materials.
ANALYSIS: INDUSTRY
ANALYSIS OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND RAW MATERIALS
Mineralogical, chemical, and stratigraphic analyses of lime, cement, stucco, mortar, etc., raw materials and alteration products.
CHARACTERIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS
Characterization of inorganic industrial products (inorganic pigments and paints, ceramic materials, etc.) and processing waste, including ashes, fillers and aggregates. Characterization of multilayer materials, coatings, surface defects and impurities.
SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS
Studies aimed at the synthesis and production of innovative inorganic materials of industrial interest.
We also perform analyses of the morphological-structural properties of materials through the acquisition of 2D and / or 3D topographic images and the study of crystal growth processes and surface mass transport phenomena. Creation of theoretical models and simulations to solve problems related to production, treatment of materials and related industrial applications.

OTHER SERVICES
SpectraLab is a scientific-technical group for consultancy in the characterization of materials, which also offers services in the field of scientific dissemination, education, event organization and museum services .
SCIENTIFIC CONSULTING
We offer scientific consulting services through fully-customizable services. We offer competence, quality and reliability for research development.
